Applications
Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA, WB
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.
Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
Fibrinogen is a dimer of three pairs of disulfide-bonded chains: Aa, Bβ, and γ. Thrombin cleavage of fibrino-peptides A and B on the Aa and Bβ chains of plasma fibrinogen converts the soluble 340 kDa protein into an interconnected network of insoluble fibrin strands.
This clone binds human fibrinogen in solid-phase ELISA and Western blot applications.
